Cable colours
From the 31 March 2006 all new electrical installations are to be installed using the European Harmonized Cable Colours. The changes to the colour identification of conductors in fixed wiring were introduced by, amongst other things, Amendment No. 2: 2004 to BS 7671:2001 issued on 31 March 2004.
