Constitution of the board
The Electrical Safety Council has wide support from the electrical industry, professional bodies and consumer groups and consists of representatives from 75 bodies including Public Electricity Distributors, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Consumers' Association, the Electrical Contractors' Association, trade unions and many other notable organisations which have an interest in electrical safety.
These representatives nominate a Board of Trustees who have a vast range of experience and expertise to govern the Electrical Safety Council.
The Board of Trustees are responsible for setting the Charity specific objectives against the consumer safety mission and to ensure that the Charity operates independently within its role.
